I definitely like the photos where the people are aware, and/or posing for the shot. ie) #4,5 & 8.
I like seeing how people act when they know their picture is being taken. To me it says more about them than if they're not aware of it. I guess to most, the opposite is true, but I'm a badass and think what I do.
Matthew Tichenor is currently employed in the Vancouver film industry. In 2008, he began working on this collection of photographic series studying random spaces, ideas, events, cities, cultures and people.
