About an hour or so drive south of Mexico City there is an amazing, quiet borough called Xochimilco. There you can hire a beautiful little boat with captain and cruise around on the crowded canals taking in a favorite local past time. Many families from the city spend hours leisurely floating around while picnicking, drinking and enjoying the incredible musicians who come up along side your vessel and serenade.
